Janet Burgis is a teacher, relational therapist and integrative practitioner with over three decades of experience working with individuals, couples, and groups.
Her work is grounded in relational approaches including Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Imago Relationship Therapy, Psychoenergetics, and long-standing involvement with the Hoffman Process, alongside embodied and depth-oriented practices.
This integration allows for work that is both structured and responsive — addressing patterns not only at the level of understanding, but in how they are lived and enacted.
She has worked extensively with a wide range of clients across different cultural, social, and relational contexts, including facilitating groups and intensive programmes over many years.
This experience informs a practice that is attentive to both individual dynamics and the wider systems in which they sit.
Her approach is direct, engaged, and grounded in relationship.
The focus is not on insight alone, but on supporting meaningful change in how people relate — to themselves, to others, and within the complexity of real life.
The name reflects something simple.
A focus on what happens between us — not only what is spoken about.
It means staying with the moment as it unfolds:
Over time, this work develops the capacity to remain present, to take responsibility, and to respond with greater clarity.
It asks for curiosity, a willingness to not know, and the ability to meet both yourself and others with honesty and care.
